It happened. I had my first juicing fail. And what a fail it was. Turns out, you can’t just put whatever you want into a juicer and expect it to taste good. ‘Cause it won’t. In fact, it might just taste downright bad. Here were the ingredients to my epic let down: apple, spinach, beet greens, orange, mint, and broccoli. Eugh. Never again.
After I trashed my first abomination I whipped up something a little more paletable. Here were my new ingredients: apple, spinach, mint, celery, and carrot. I topped it off at the end with about a tablespoon of chia seeds for the oil and protein I had been missing all day. So. Much. Better. Happy juicing!
